Desmoplastic Spitz nevus is a rare variant of Spitz nevus. In this report a case of Spitz nevus on the dorsum of the left hand is presented. The lesion has been excised with suspicion of dermatofibroma. The clinicopathologic features and differential diagnosis are discussed with the literature.
