Intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms of the pancreas are rare. Morphologically the spectrum ranges from adenoma to carcinoma. They can be differentiated from the common pancreatic tumors by their intraductal development, clinical features and pancreatographic apparence. Prognosis depends upon the spread of the invazive component. We report a case of a minimally invasive intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm iwith emphasis on the clinical and morphological features. |
